Dream Come True 

I’m still in complete bliss about Steve Carell’s cameo on The Office series finale. I’m basically experiencing Michael Scott in real time with everybody else and that is something I have WANTED to have since I started crushing on Steve back in August 2011. (I know, I was a few month too late…it’s still a regret). I love The Office.  No other TV show fucking matters right now.

The Office’s Series Finale

The Office 

The Office airs its series finale tonight. I don’t care if this sounds stupid or corny, but I am extremely emotional right now. The Office is something to me that is more than just a TV show. It provided me with something so precious that the majority of you take for granted everyday…consistency.

I started watching this show at the beginning of Season 8 (you know, the season starting without the love of my life, Steve Carell) in the Fall of 2011. And since that first time I sat and watched the Season 8 premiere, SO MUCH has happened to me. I lost my mom to congestive heart failure, I had to give up my cat of 10 years and only to find out he ran away from the people I gave him to, I moved three times to three different cities, and had two different places of employment (many jobs within those two places) are among the many things that came my way in very uncertain time. Despite all of that, I knew the one consistent thing in my life would be that I would sit down and watch The Office every Thursday at 9pm.

Tonight, I mourn.
